1. Orientation Day
The Orientation Day for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on June 2, 2025, with enthusiasm and warmth. The event was organized to welcome newly admitted students and their parents to the LFJC family and to acquaint them with the college’s academic environment, values, and infrastructure.
The program commenced with a word of prayer, followed by a melodious prayer song by the college choir. Rev. Bro. Arun Prakash, our respected Principal, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of discipline, dedication, and holistic development. He highlighted the college’s milestones, vision, and achievements.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. Orientation Day was a grand success, laying a strong foundation for the students’ academic journey.
2. Honoring a Legacy of Service: Farewell to Mrs. Padmasani
A farewell programme was organized by the management and staff on May 31, 2025 to honor and celebrate the contributions of Mrs.Padmasani, Department of Mathematics. The event witnessed emotional moments filled with gratitude, appreciation, and fond memories. The Principal, colleagues, and family members shared their experiences and offered their best wishes for a peaceful and fulfilling retired life.
3. Academic Toppers – Intermediate Board Exam 2024–2025
We are proud to announce that our students have excelled in the Intermediate Board Examinations. Several students secured top ranks, a testament to their hard work and the continuous support of the faculty. The college congratulates all the toppers and wishes them further academic and professional success.
4. Courtesy Visit of Sri. Kiran Gopal, IAS
On June 21, 2025, Sri. Kiran Gopal, IAS officer and proud alumnus (Batch: 1997–1999), paid a courtesy visit to the campus. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, faculty, and student representatives.
In an interactive session, he shared valuable insights about his journey from LFJC to becoming a civil servant. He stressed the importance of discipline, determination, and perseverance. The session inspired students to pursue civil services and public service careers with renewed motivation.
5. Unit Test – July 2025
The first Unit Test for the academic year 2025–2026 was conducted from July 17 to July 25, 2025. The test assessed students’ grasp of the initial syllabus and prepared them for future examinations. Papers were designed as per board standards, and the entire examination process was carried out smoothly and fairly. Students received timely feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
6. Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM)
The first PTM is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025. The meeting aims to:
- Strengthen the parent-teacher relationship
- Discuss academic performance, attendance, and behavior
- Share feedback on the Unit Test
- Allow parents to voice concerns and suggestions to management.
7. Renovation of Heritage Hall
The Heritage Hall has been renovated to offer a modern, comfortable, and well-equipped space for academic and cultural activities. Key features include:
- Advanced audio-visual equipment
- Improved lighting and acoustics
- Aesthetic and professional interiors
This hall now serves as a vibrant hub for seminars, lectures, and student events.
